This year’s Trolls in the Park-Children’s Spring Show created an opportunity to collect art materials to be sent to people in stricken area of Tohoku. Emi Ohtaguro, the guest teacher, and visitors for the Trolls, and the 4th grade students and teachers of the Momoshi Elementary School collected many materials across this May. Accompanied with an artwork and messages from momoshi students, the materials were sent to 3 Elementary Schools (11 schools in total as they currently share school buildings) in Minamisouma City. This activity was realized by the generous support from Mr. Kaneko in Harano City, Minamisouma, who also supported our residency artist Antti Ylonen from Finland in 2002.
